Write an essay in 250 words or less about a business, owned or co-owned by a woman. Be sure to address these five criteria in your essay:
- Opportunity - Why was the business founded?
- Challenges - What struggles have you/the entrepreneur faced in starting or building your/her business?
- Rewards - How have you/the entrepreneur addressed those challenges, and succeeded?
- Inspiration - Does your/the entrepreneur's story showcase innovation and/or perseverance that can serve as inspiration for other entrepreneurs?
- Technology - Illustrate how the lack of robust communications technology has negatively impacted your/the entrepreneur's business. How might you/the entrepreneur benefit from an upgrade to Internet, telephone or other communications services?
It is recommended that you compose your essay in a separate document, and copy and paste your final version in the box below.
